Hello World

My name is Cheah Wui Jia. Welcome to my new blog! This blog discusses my journey associated with my PhD dissertation. My research project maps out the believing and doubting journeys of 27 Malaysian participants concerning Evangelical Christianity. I focus on the construction, deconstruction, and reconstruction of Evangelical identities. Continually reflecting on my research topic is helpful, and constructing sentences keeps me sane.  I have a husband and a pet cat. They keep me sane too. Life as a PhD student is challenging but rewarding.  I chose this research topic as it resonates with my personal journey of questioning mainstream Evangelical Christianity. I wanted to meet others who have experienced doubt about their faith. I also wanted to know how they navigate their doubt and life crises that may have triggered such doubt. I look forward to connecting with anyone who expresses interest in my research. See you in the next post! This is six-month-old Mithy. He likes car rides. Pic
